Let a Pro Install it!
The Professional Installer Network is a nationwide network of over 7,000 certified professionals that specialize in installing mobile electronics products.
For Professional Installation:
As the saying goes, our product is only as good as the installation. Due to the complexity of today’s vehicles it has become increasingly easy to trigger check engine lights or cause engine damage. That is why we encourage all Ready Remote customers to have their system professionally installed. Please visit
www.proinstallation.com
to schedule a professional installation for your product. They offer highly skilled professional installation at very competitive rates.
For Do-It-Yourself Installation:
If you choose to proceed by installing the system yourself you will definitely want to
visit our wiring diagram page
to obtain a vehicle-specific wiring diagram for your vehicle. These diagrams will tell you what color each wire is and where it can be found. Even the most seasoned installers save time by using these wiring diagrams.
Another valuable option is to view our tutorial video. In every Ready Remote package there is an installation video that briefly covers the basics of remote start installation. It is highly recommended that you watch this video prior to beginning your installation. If the package you purchased did not include an installation video you can view the same material as a 3-part series of Ready Remote installation videos.

If, after reviewing the wiring for your vehicle, you still wish to install this system yourself, the next step that we recommend you take is to visit
www.directechs.com
to determine if your vehicle needs a bypass module. Most vehicles sold in the United States after 1998 have a microchip hidden in the head of the key that requires a bypass module to allow remote start to work. Simply visit
www.directechs.com
and enter your vehicle information to see if a bypass is needed. Bypass modules are usually the most difficult part of any installation and are one of the biggest reasons we recommend that you use
www.proinstallation.com
to have this system installed.
